Huge store with friendly people. I love the fact there is self serve cash registers that accept cash, and coin money, as well as credit/debit/gift cards.

Expensive but specials are usually worth it in Canadian standards. Many items are exactly as sold in harbor freight stores in the USA but 20 times the price when it comes to tools and trinkets. Bought a battery that froze in 3 days and was told that voided my warranty. Put it on a trickle charger and it's been fine. Not very honest auto repair staff. Bad service with car battery and my free tire rotation which they insist was done never took place.
Purchased flower plants for my flowerbed. Excellent choice. I even found the beautiful Passion flower plant.
Overall it's ok but the cashier (girl) was having a bad day. It's a little frustrating to have to deal with other people's bad humour when you are with your family trying to do an activity outside in a cold day. Canadian tire should offer more training for their employees so they could be more pleasant to their customers. I spent $500 and the girl didn't even know how the canadian dollar program works. Probably a student working only on weekends. That's why machines are replacing people on customer service. Be careful Canadian Tire, attitudes like that made Sears bankrupt.
